Holiday Homes for Hire
We have a small selection of holiday homes for hire at Merley House Holiday Park in Wimborne. Our rental properties are an excellent ‘stop gap’ and well suited to guests looking for short term accommodation in Dorset. The minimum rental term is one month with the option to extend on a flexible basis.
The majority of our holiday homes for hire are occupied by guests having work done on their home or waiting for the purchase of a property to go through. They cannot be used as a primary residence and must be vacated during our period of winter closure each year.
As a holiday home guest, you will have access to our on-park facilities, including our indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and play parks. Some of our accommodation is dog friendly and we have a dedicated dog walking field for your four-legged friend.
Well-appointed Holiday Homes
Our holiday homes provide a comfortable base to return at the end of a busy day of work. They come from leading manufacturers and are completed to a high standard with modern interiors and quality fixtures and fittings. You will need to supply your own bedding as well as utensils, crockery, pots, pans, kettle and toaster. All of our homes come with a fridge, gas cooker and hob.
Our rental holiday homes are designed to offer a home from home experience. As such, we do not offer a housekeeping service. You will be expected to maintain the property and make use of our on-park laundrette.
Convenient Dorset Location
Merley House Holiday Park is close to the A31, providing easy access to Poole and Bournemouth by car. Southampton and the New Forest are less than an hour away and Weymouth and Dorchester are also within easy reach.
Despite our convenient location, Merley House enjoys a rural setting, perfect for anyone wanting to swap the hustle and bustle for a slower pace of life. Our idyllic grounds are maintained to a high standard with carefully landscaped areas, mature trees and colourful planting. The park is a haven for wildlife and home to plentiful birds, deer and insects. We even have a flock of guinea fowl roaming the park!

We require a holding deposit that is refundable subject to the holiday home being left in a clean and undamaged condition. The rent is from as little as £150 per week for up to 4 people and payable in advance.
Gas is charged on a ‘per-bottle’ basis and electricity is on a meter.
