
Kingston Lacy
Kingston Lacy is a picturesque house and gardens located just outside Merley House Holiday Park’s nearby town of Wimborne.
Step inside the breathtaking 17th-century Italian-inspired country mansion and find yourself in awe of the stunning architecture and historic paintings. Inside, you’ll find an array of rooms to discover, from the Egyptian room to the Spanish room, each showcasing something unique to explore.
Venture outside and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the picturesque 17th-century formal gardens, including a beautiful Japanese garden, a classic English garden and an adventurous woodland area. For kid’s entertainment, the park offers plenty of play areas and adventure trails to investigate, ensuring hours of entertainment for the whole family.
After your day of exploring, head over to The Stables Café for a delicious bite to eat. Take your pick of options from sandwiches and light snacks. You’ll also find some sweet treats, including cream teas and ice cream along with hot drinks and tasty options for children.
For National Trust members, it’s free to enter this popular attraction. There is however a fee for non-members.

Kingston Lacy is open daily. Please note that the shop, house and some other facilities have slightly shorter opening times. The attraction offers plenty of toilets and a variety of other amenities, including a bookshop, gift shop, flower shop and café. There’s also a free on-site car park for National Trust members, with a small fee for non-members.
