We hope everyone is keeping safe and listening to the Government action plans. We were advised, as of yesterday, Sunday afternoon, that all holiday home owners who use their caravans, lodges or cabins for weekend and holiday purposes, would have to immediately vacate them, or if not already at the Park, would not be allowed to travel too them for the foreseeable future. It is not a huge surprise that this has happened and was in all honesty expected.
Those of you who use your holiday home as a more permanent residence can remain where you are at present. Quite frankly, we expect that you don’t have anywhere else to go. Speaking to BH and HPA head office today, we are doing the right thing by you, our clients. There may be further updates to come in the next few days, but we feel at this precise moment, there is little or nothing else we can do as the situation unfolds further.
On a lighter note. The first batch of bread, baked by the chef’s in the main house was done this morning and has gone down very well with those who had a loaf. Myself included. They also have lots of orders for their menu for the coming week. So thank you for supporting them. This small gesture is showing what a community spirit coming together can do. So well done all of you.
We would also like to thank you for the words of thanks and encouragement our staff have had for continuing to be here and looking after each and everyone of you. We are going to have to get through this together, so stay strong, stay calm, and above all stay patient. It’s going to be a difficult road ahead for the next couple of weeks, or more. Please continue to keep an eye out for one another.
TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.
